What a great idea for this crumbled effect. And I just love the jewelry hardware, makes the whole thing very elegant.
Welcome to the motif challenge

Welcome to the 25 Motif Challenge!

I especially like your pastel tatted edge on the hanky. Your pretty ladies and this pendant (Motif #1) are very unique. Also, the alphabet letters are very colorful and nicely done with the white chain 'border'. I can see a lot of uses for those, such as on T-shirts or sweatshirts for kids!

You also have quite a good collection of books, and I know someone who would LOVE to have that Boye tatting shuttle! It's amazing that the new Boye metal shuttles aren't made the same way as the old ones, in that you can't put the bobbin on the end opposite the hook. That was such an important feature, and I can't understand why they changed it!

Please let us know how you learned to tat!

agasunset,
Thankyou for both the welcome & the complement on my work. I like that hardware cause you can change the piece on it so easy & it not look the same. So all you have to do is change the mofit on it & it will go with any outfit you want to ware.

Kathy Niklewicz,
Thankyou for the complements. The letters was made as a tool for kids to learn for school. But you are right they can be used for many other things.
That's not all my books I have just a few of them. I have a few different shuttles that boye made. As well as some other ones made by others too.
Kathy, I hope you don't get upset over may answer on how I learned how to tatt. But the truth is; it just comes naturally from with inside. I have played with string since I was a little kid & 45 years later I'm still playing with it. I hope that answers your question on how I learned.
Thakyou for your complements. Thankyou for checking out everything I have made & put on here so far. Please come again.
