A day is what you make of it, each holds adventures in anything you do just depends on how you look at it. Laugh each day, live life like it's your last. Smile & make others wonder what you know that they don't. Know it's ok to think outside the box when making crafts. I'm glad that I've listened to the advise of my good friend Judith C. about,"Living the Dream!" Cause I am.

pen holder with flower bed tatting
you can use this at home or at the office & decorate how you like with flowers or what ever.
Typs Tatting, I'm very glad you like it. I don't have alot of supplies where I live. So when I look at things I always ask," What can be done with this?" Before you know it something pops into mind for it.
God's Kid, Well such things don't have to look the same at every home or in the office. It was easy & fun to see which of my practice pieces could be used for it. Cause I don't believe in wasting anything.
Suztats, Good moring! I'm glad that you like it. Gotta spice things up when I see it can look different here & there. Thankyou for sharing your pictures on your blog too. Love them as well!
yarnplayer, I know that some good has to be made of even the practice pieces we make. So I put together a small flower bed to decorate a metal pen holder. Which added a splash of style to it. I'm glad you like it too.
agasunset, Pens go inside this...can't put a tiny flower bed in the road, didn't want the flowers to get crushed...so it had to go on the outside. I'm glad we both think outside the box! LOL! I'm glad you like it.
I never throw any tatted pieces away, mistake or not, big or small, just save them and they may come handy to add to anything, from my children's collage pieces in the school to my ATCs.
AngelSan, That it is, which is why you keep your practice pieces & even the ones you make mistakes with. Cause they are all able to be used to make things with. Plus you can use them to learn with as well. I know what you mean about having a hard time getting thread & supplies. There's no store here that sells any of it. So I too have to order it from else where just like you. Thanks for stopping by & come again.
Allison, I'm glad that you like this too. This can be done with older kids let alone we can do it all ourselves. But it's just thinking of ways anyone can enjoy being creative. This one found a home with a good friend of mine.

You really think outside the box, by putting these flowers on the box. Very creative, as always :)

Singtatter,
I agree & that's why I never throw them away also. Cause they are useful for many things. Glad you stopped by.
this is so lovely and original !!! I can't believe it's made out of practice pieces?
