Just playing around I first done this one. It's all one thread & only one knot at the end to deal with.
Then I done this using 2 threads..
Which lead to more garland for our tree this year. It stores flat & holds the form, you can make it as long as you like or need. Plus you can go sideways with it too.

That's really neat, Bsotf! I can picture it in gold and silver, or red and silver winding its way around the Christmas tree, sparkling it up and making it unique.

Yes, you are right you can do it in whatever color you like or all different ones. You can use it for more than just christmas too if you like. Yes, it makes your tree different from others you see.
