It's not done yet. But it is able to be used for tatting. I have to finish figuring out how I want the rest to be. Back in the day not all chatelaines were small. They was one way to carry tools to do the craft when travling. Not all tools back then was small ones either. They weren't just for jewerly to look elegant, but to be functional.

Good idea Bsotf! I've seen chatelaines for sewing, but this is the first I've heard of for tatting.

Thankyou, I had been getting it slowly to come together. That's why I'm still not done with it. But as I do it I make sure that it's functional & everything to it is a decoration. In time I'll get it all finished how I want it to be. Glad you like it!
