A day is what you make of it, each holds adventures in anything you do just depends on how you look at it. Laugh each day, live life like it's your last. Smile & make others wonder what you know that they don't. Know it's ok to think outside the box when making crafts. I'm glad that I've listened to the advise of my good friend Judith C. about,"Living the Dream!" Cause I am.

Learning using alphabet letters tatting
To some this might not be much. But when you are learning your ABC's & the sounds, writing letters,,,this can be used for many things to make learning fun. That's why I done these letters back when I started doing my blog. Now we have a learning tool that don't run on electricity to use. Kids like it. That's all that matters to me.

That is nice! What a good idea..
Tattingrid,
Thankyou! Back in the one room school house & bigger schools the letters used to be across the top of the blackboards. So the kids could always see them. Well, this is as close to that as I can get right now. Kids learn in different ways. Which this can cover alot of ways they learn. Sometimes the old ways had many good reasons & are good to keep using.
Wow! You tatted the alphabet? That's quite an undertaking Bsotf! But you are right that kids can learn visually just by absorbing what's in their surroundings. Good on you for providing that stimulation to your little ones. How long did it take you to tat all those letters?
Suztats,
To answer your question of how long did it take to tat the letters? Well, I done the ones in a book & didn't care for how they turned out. So I made my own pattern for both the large letters & the small ones too. Cause I didn't find any for the small letters to go with the big ones. I can tat one set in 2 weeks. Yes, the little ones loved watching me make them & now they get to use them in many ways to learn.
What an awesome learning tool! They look great! :)
Kathy,
Thankyou. Sometimes teaching outside the box is a good thing to do.
