A day is what you make of it, each holds adventures in anything you do just depends on how you look at it. Laugh each day, live life like it's your last. Smile & make others wonder what you know that they don't. Know it's ok to think outside the box when making crafts. I'm glad that I've listened to the advise of my good friend Judith C. about,"Living the Dream!" Cause I am.

Linked Chain tatting
Linked chain tatting motif #8 for 25 Motif Challenge
Made of DMC thread & vintaged JP Coats thread too. You could make it long enough to use for garland for your Christmas tree.
Tats, Creative..it just comes to me. Firm knowledge...questionable..but I'm having alot of fun making things come to life! Thankyou very much for the lovely comment. Watch out for the tea shop...it's calling you!
I've never seen this before. What a wonderful idea! I've made an angel and snowflakes for my tree but never a garland. Thanks for sharing, now I have something new to add to my tree this year. *smiles*
Long enough for my Christmas tree!?!?!?!? You've got to be kidding me- I'm having trouble completing a "Whipped Cream Frill" doily and you think I could what!?!?! lol
Imoshen, I'm thrilled that you like it. I'm glad that you want to make some to add to your beautiful christmas tree of tatted orniments. Stop by again soon.
Beelizabeth, I didn't say you had to, just something to think about. Trust me this is much easier & faster than a doily. But I want to see your doily when it's done. This is just a sample of it. Not long enough for a very big tree right now. However it grows faster than you except. Stop by again soon & keep on tatting.
Sure beats those paper ones I made as a kid! It would look smashing with a metallic thread, too, I think. Have you tried it that way? Wonderful idea! and thanks for sharing,
Suztats, I know they will last longer than those we all made in school did too. No, I don't have any metallic thread yet..I'll have to get some & try it. Hay, can't keep the kid inside me from coming out from time to time.
