Just playing around I first done this one. It's all one thread & only one knot at the end to deal with.

Then I done this using 2 threads..

Which lead to more garland for our tree this year. It stores flat & holds the form, you can make it as long as you like or need. Plus you can go sideways with it too.

During the morning storms that caused flooding in the area, I couldn't do much of anything so I decided to play with hemp cord & Lizbeth Zebra. I found out that I was human due to I messed up. I had to start over on what is in my head but that's ok. At least I got some tatting in today & that's a huge thing with all that's going on. But I'm going to get it worked out & be rather pleased when it's all finished.

Although things in life have gotten rather crazy for awhile, I still made time to get somethings made when I was able to find a little freetime here & there. using DMC Traditions yellow & Flora Red,,,I made this bookmark that will & does glow in the dark. Just any normal thread can be done to do this. So now finding the book you want with out waking up your husband or other half trying to find your book when you can't sleep isn't such a problem to get it to go in the other room to read. This was taken with my camera set on blacklight setting. So you see it does work.

It's not done yet. But it is able to be used for tatting. I have to finish figuring out how I want the rest to be. Back in the day not all chatelaines were small. They was one way to carry tools to do the craft when travling. Not all tools back then was small ones either. They weren't just for jewerly to look elegant, but to be functional.

I had just one bead like this. I know I showed this before but something was missing. Anyhow now it can be worn several ways. Either all together, the pendant as a brouch with a bead necklace or plain chain.

This one here can be broke down to go with many different ways. Which I do like jewerly that you can do this with. Your jewerly never gets old this way. Plus it helps make sure you have something to ware with your outfits much easier too.

Yes, it's beginning to look alot like Christmas everywhere you look. Magical things are happening. Little ones are all excited over a visit from Santa Clause, Father Nickolas, Papa Noel, or whatever you call him. They are looking for his reindeer to stop on the house tops.
Christmas isn't just one day a year. It's all year round. Helping others when they don't expect anyone to do so. Giving when noone expects it. Christmas is not just one day a year. It's all year round. It comes from inside one.
Homemade things means that someone thought enough of you or who they give the stuff to, to spend their time & love to make it just special for you. It's like a little kid who puts their heart into making something special for mommy & daddy, gramma & papa, or anyone else. It might not be perfect but it is perfect cause it's the best they could do. They are proud of it & you are too!
So count your blessings everyday! Cause you never know when it's your last day or someone else will no longer be around. Don't have any regrets. Don't say," I wish I had _______. But I can't do that no more cause that other person isn't here no more." If you want to see someone just to say," HI!" do it! If you want to go to the park & dance in the snow as it's coming down...go for it! Make everyday special & live it as it it's your last. Enjoy it & know it's ok to take time for you too. For IF you don't take care of yourself...who will! Many of us forget how imporant that is to do too.
Most of all, tell those you love just that. Say I love you to them as often as you can. Say," Hello!" to those you meet on the street. Smile & see how many smile back at you! It will make their day too.

My mailman loved this package. He didn't know what was on the inside but he got a kick out of your names on the outside.This was from waterdew. She put my name on another site "Little Bell" on the outside with my name. Which is why the mailman got a little laugh in a good way over our names. I was excited to get it cause I didn't know when or where it would be coming from. This is my other secret santa gift. I am thrilled to get it! Now I can see what things comes to life using it all. The deerstand one I just done without being in the woods by one sitting in our yard at the time. The last one was just something from in my head that landed on paper. None of them are fancy but I didn't say I was a great drawer either.

I almost fell off my chair today when I was reading one of the several workbasket books I had gotten lately. For in March of 1953 on page 49 & 50 was a shocker of surprise! You see my late husband's grandmother lived with us until she passed away in our home. We took care of her in her time of most need. No, she didn't teach me how to tat. She made him one of these crosses & one of the flags in these books too. Anyhow I don't think anyone knew it but the cross they all believed she had made up the pattern for, was actually a pattern out of this book. I was shocked when it hit me like a ton of brickes. I do fell blessed to have a copy of this pattern. For you see she used to make several of the patterns from the workbasket books.

There are many ways to carry tools for crafts. Some use suitcases, tubs, boxes & many other things. But sometimes we can't take those things along. Or we just don't have that many things. Yet when you get to see inside some you are amazed by how much & many different crafts tools are inside of something small. It can be amazing to see. I have many other craft tools but this is a good example of what I am speaking about. Oh how I would love to have a craft room...

This tool is so small but the instructions on how to use it is huge compared to it.

Old Mc Donald's farm had Chicken poxs!

Old Mc Donald has a farm & on his farm was Chicken pox here, there & everywhere. One is broke out & still breaking out. The other hasn't started yet. I love it! Today we was watching & saw that this week is craft week on tv on one channle. Which I thought every day is a creative day at our house. Yes, we do something creative every day not just once or twice a week. Nor do we wait for a certain week or month. Yes, you can even tat with macrame' cord. The yellow ball of thread is size 10 Flora buttercup so you can see it's possible. Just have to use your hands to do it without a shuttle.

Tatting with hemp cord is stiffer to use but it still turns out nice when you are finished making tattings with it. The glass bead necklace is to show you that the hair pretty is made with the same cord as the one the glass bead is on.

Yes, for those who use the real ones to spice up their romance but forget where they put the key & have to call the police department to free the other mate. No they aren't sold in stores or advertized on tv or raido. This is just to make others laugh who need a laugh. Not made to be sold or for kids! Not to offend anyone at all. Just to make others laugh.
